The City Talks Back brought together architects, urbanists, activists, artists and anthropologists to explore the political voices of contemporary Athens. The projects and pieces presented aimed to question who is (and isn’t) heard in the city and how the audibility of voices changes across its varying public spaces.
As a curator of this project, alongside John Bingham-Hall and Fani Kostourou of Theatrum Mundi, for Onassiss Stegi, I worked closely with graphic design studio Typical Organization to conceive and commission the project website backtalks.city. In addition, I worked with the project contributors to shape their pieces into the design and format of the exhibition platform.
